How much does it Cost?
The cost of the tour is $25 per person, including all taxes and fees. We strive to provide an affordable and educational experience that anyone can enjoy! We know traveling in Alaska is expensive, and it is our hope that this tour will allow you to slow down and enjoy the beautiful sights while capturing images to share and enjoy long after you have departed Seward.
What should I bring?
This is a casual photography tour that is geared toward iPhone photography. However, you are more than welcome to bring your DSLR or point & shoot camera- many of the photography tips we share during the tour apply to all types of photography. You may consider bringing a water bottle for the tour, since we will be walking and talking for about two hours.
Where do we meet?
Our tours meet in downtown Seward at Kawabe Park. This park is on the corner of Fourth Avenue and Adams Street, with plenty of free parking. There are public restrooms at the beginning and end of the tour, and a free local shuttle that can return you to downtown Seward (since our tour ends in the Small Boat Harbor).
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket for your photo tour. Since your hands will be busy photographing the beautiful sights, we don’t recommend an umbrella if it is raining, but you might consider a baseball cap. Rarely, we will cancel a tour if there is a storm, but we typically go exploring rain or shine!
